Silly Girl

Rebecca peed her pants the other night, so I took off her pants. It was just about time for bed, so I asked her to go upstairs and bring down some jammies. She brought down her favorite nightgown. I was in the middle of making a bottle for the baby, so I asked her to wait a minute, and I'd help her put it on. She decided to put it on herself.

In case you can't quite tell how she is wearing this nightgown, she has her body in the neck hole and her legs out of the arm holes.

Over the weekend she was told that she could have some candy as long as she finished her dinner. She did finish, so we told her to get herself a piece. Instead she got two.

She cracks me up every day.

This Kid Loves His Sister...

Here's Rebecca trying to teach William how to spit out his binky. He just laughs at her. He doesn't laugh like that at anyone or anything else. And they have the same laugh. Sometimes I have to turn around to see which one is laughing.

My New Obsession

I changed my display name. When I started this blog, I thought Kevin would do more of it with me, so I changed my display name to "Kev and Em". He's pretty busy, and it's really become more my thing, so I changed my display name to "Emily B". I would have used "Emily", but I've seen two or three other Emilys on other people's blogs who use "Emily" as their display name.

There is a purpose for my posting this information. This post will be about Twilight. I changed my display name because I don't want to write this and have people see "posted by kev and em" on the bottom, like Kevin has some interest in Twilight.

Anyway, on to the post...Since I read the Twilight series a couple of months ago, it has become my new obsession, especially since I found out they are making a movie about it. When I read a book, I love to see the movie version just to see if my imagination matches up with it. Stephenie Meyer, the author, posted some pictures of the characters from the movie on her web page. I think they are perfect.

This is "the Cullen family". This picture does not do these people justice. I looked them each up on IMDB just to see what else they were in, and they are all very beautiful people.

This is "Bella and Edward" with the author Stephenie Meyer.
If you go to stepheniemeyer.com and click on the movie tab, there are more pictures, and you can find out the names of all of the actors. I love the cast so far. I'm excited to see how the movie turns out.

I Got Tagged

Julie tagged me to do this before I started a blog. Now that I have one, here goes...

I know...My Father Lives
I believe...in Christ
(I always have a song in my head)
I fought...with Kevin yesterday while trying to figure out this blog. We don't do projects very well together.
I am angered...that Mitt Romney dropped out of the race. It should have been Huckabee.
I love...my family more than anything
I need...to sleep a lot
I take...nothing. When I am in pain or sick, I don't ever take anything. I'm not a medicine snob; I just don't ever think about taking something to make me feel better.
I hear...a commercial on TV about American Idol
I drink...lots of Coke lately
I hate...to stop doing something before I've finished doing it
I use...lots of Spray 'n Wash. I should invest in the company.
I want...To Be Rich (another song)
I like...to be organized
I wear...my Ugg boots every day. I would never pay that much for shoes, but my mother-in-law bought them for me, and they are honestly the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
I feel...hungry
I left... a bunch of unfolded laundry upstairs
I do...crossword puzzles in People magazine
I hope... that I will always be a good mom and wife
I dream...very vivid, weird dreams lately
I drive...two Toyota Camry's. We like them so much, we bought two.
I listen...to pop songs
I type...very slow
I think...I am enjoying this blogging stuff
I need...to fold a lot of laundry
I wish...I was a little more creative
I am...getting a little fatter than I'd like to be
I regret...not going back to BYU, but I don't regret meeting Kevin when I came home.
I care...about people
I should...go get ready for the day
I said..."Kevin, can you get the baby up?"
I wonder...how my kids will turn out in this world we live in
I cry...pretty easily
I lose...something all the time. Recently I lost my engagement ring, but I found it.
I leave...my garage door open like once a month

I'm so glad to be more involved in this instead of just watching others have fun with their blogs.

Our First Post

I've been spying on other people through their blogs long enough. It's time others are able to spy on me back.

Kevin works for KHS&S Contractors. Until very recently, he was a carpenter. They moved him to a cushy office job, where he intends on sitting at a desk all day and getting fat. He will be done with film school soon, and he is very excited about that. "Yeah, a lot of people go to school for seven years; they're called doctors."

Emily stays at home with the kids and makes sure the house is clean. Well, she stays at home with the kids anyway.

Rebecca is three. She loves Barbie, dress ups, and anything Disney. She asks to go to Disneyland every day. She is either talking, humming, or singing all day long. She's our little parrot. She doesn't like gymnastics, so we might try hockey next.

William is chubby. He is nine months old, and he refuses to crawl. He has dad's personality, so he is always happy. He is a total mama's boy, and mama is enjoying that very much.

We like it here in Vegas, and we have no plans to go anywhere else anytime soon.
